Areas of work
HCL Domino
Development and maintenance of Domino applications: LotusScript, XPages, Java, and Formula Language. Integration with other systems through APIs and data exchange, including IBM i and DB2.
Server administration: installation and upgrades, clustering and replication, certificates, and directory management. Database and server troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
License optimization and compliance: reconciling user counts and entitlements against HCL's licensing terms using the Domino License Analysis Utility, matching license types to actual use, and preparing for audits.
Modernization of legacy applications: browser interfaces in place of Notes client forms, and existing data exposed through REST endpoints so other systems can use it.
Migration assessments for organizations deciding whether to keep Domino or move off it.
Custom web development
Websites and web applications, from static sites to database-backed systems. Front ends built over existing data, and hosting, DNS, and certificates configured as part of the work.
Networks and infrastructure
UniFi network design and configuration, VLAN segmentation, and firewall policy. Remote access using Cloudflare Tunnels and Zero Trust. DNS, and email authentication with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
AI and automation
Internal tools and agents built on current AI models. Document, search, and knowledge systems. Workflow automation between existing systems.
General IT advisory
Vendor and platform decisions, security review, and backup and recovery planning.
